The Baltimore Office of Sustainability is hiring an Equity and Engagement Associate for summer 2018 through the Urban Sustainability Director’s Network Equity Diversity Inclusion Fellowship Program. The position is for people who are new to the sustainability field or interested in exploring a career in sustainability, and will provide full-time, living-wage employment for twelve weeks. Baltimore is one of six cities that has received funding through this program. Applicants can have experience in lieu of a degree. Our fellow will work closely with Free Your Voice and the United Workers in Curtis Bay to take one or more community generated ideas on zero waste and develop overall guidance for creating a strong, sustained relationship between government, residents, and activists.
